There is no doubt that online shopping has been a go-to option for a lot of Filipino consumers. I am also guilty of this. Even my friends, family and colleagues have also tried internet shopping and they really enjoy it. It is much more convenient. Not to mention, there are a number of sites to choose from.  This is huge for me since I see product warranties as a safety net for consumers. According to a friend of mine, the factory defects of products usually appear about 6 months to a year after you start using it. And that is fundamentally why companies usually give around 6 months to 1 year warranty. But in the case of the Lazada online mall, it goes way beyond that with an additional year.
 

So with that, I am assured that if something goes wrong with an item I bought and it is because of factory defects, I can have it repaired or even replaced according to the terms in the warranty. I can even have repairs and replacements even beyond that. So I guess this is one of the company’s ways of showing how much it values its clientele.

Lastly, the Lazada online mall is also a hub for great promos and perks which are offered to both their new and loyal customers. No wonder its market base is continuously expanding! There are huge price reductions which can reach more than 50%. There are also freebies added to certain products. Even the payment method comes with a special perk—every time I buy something on a Monday using my MasterCard credit/debit card, I am entitled to an additional 10% discount.
