Lazada: Online shopping popularity in the Philippines

Connecting online is now a must in doing our daily activities. As a matter of fact, we don’t usually stay offline more often that we used to back then. With the availability of smartphones, connecting online is easier. But do local online users pick which of the websites in the past should he or she re-visit? Online websites should always think on how their online visitors will stay on their website. Website owners should focus their efforts in making sure customers won't have a hard time browsing their website. Nowadays, now that we have millions of website already published in the Internet. It's actually better for websites who provide great user interface to their visitors.

For Ecommerce websites who provide great experience to their customers may increase their sales. A lot of online malls can be seen offering great deals all over the Internet but they don't have great user interface. Not even a great deal will surely lock customers to buy from an online store if they give their online users a hard time browsing their website.  It also reflects the credibility of an online store. Website usually gets a negative impression if a customers experience bad service from them. These websites maybe tagged as scams or frauds, which is the worst. The Ecommerce industry is actually a booming online business in the Philippines. Surprisingly, this online happened last year.

Prior to last year, it wasn't even considered by the local Internet users. Actually, the local online users prefer second hand items from postings on local online classified ads. The rate of getting scammed online in online shopping in the Philippines is quite high. The online shopping perspective was changed drastically after Lazada was launched in the Philippines. Good thing that they offer Cash on Delivery or simple called C.O.D. that allowed local online users to try them. Unlike other online malls, this convinced local online customers to not worry when dealing with them since they don't need to pay upfront. Actually, online malls don't have the leverage in the deal since it is one-sided toward the local online customers. This payment method only requires customers to pay in cash only after order package is handed over in real time.

Being credit cardholder will no longer have heavy bearing since we can now shop online with just cash on our pocket. What I like about the Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall as well is their user friendly approach on their website navigation.  I think any first time users won’t have a hard time navigating their website. Anyone can immediately understand how they can shop on their website on their first look. Since the category menu is on all of their website pages, it will be harder for someone to get lost. They offer huge selections that are grouped accordingly that it will help local online users to browse thru their interest. This helps local online customers to easily address what category should they visit.
