Lazada Philippines: A solution to online payment

There are times when we encounter hardships when shopping on conventional malls. There is the issue with traffic when you travel to the mall’s direction. There are also issues where you get jammed with the crowd especially if there is a mega sale. Not knowingly, we also spend more when we visit traditional malls on travel expense and even dining on restaurants after a tiring roaming around for shopping. Shopping nowadays is much easier since we can go for either offline or online shopping. Shopping is no longer a time issue for most of us. They live in lifestyle where they prefer to live life at night. These are the people who don’t have time during daylight and are at work at night. They can visit the mall only during mall hours that it is ironically closed. These make it hard for them to visit traditional offline malls. They can only visit these offline malls during holidays or weekend.

It's way complicated for them compared to people who work on a normal time shift. It's a good thing for them that online shopping is getting popular now in the country. Online is now being migrated by offline businesses. This shopping craze only started last year in our country. When Lazada arrived in the Philippines, other online malls were established as well. This makes them one of the first online malls to service the local online users. This online mall is also available in other South East Asia countries. Ecommerce started to rise ever since they arrived in the country compared to the previous years. It was hard not to notice their influence in local online market.

Actually, it's only logical to establish an online mall in the Philippines since there is not much of a competition. They are actually facing a problem on how they will convince the local online users to try their store. Most online users are not fan of online payment that's why online users are hard to convert to customers. Hackers may target us once we use our credit card for transactions. As a matter fact, only of few of the local online users have their own credit cards. This hampered the growth of Ecommerce in the country. It doesn't mean that most local online users are not familiar with online payments. With online malls, we usually look to their risk rather than the reward that may come.

We just don't trust online stores in general the first time we see them. We jump to conclusion that they are only there to scam people. These two alone are enough reasons to tell that Ecommerce is really challenging here. Lazada solved these Ecommerce woes when they arrived in the country. They were able to come up with Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. as an alternative payment method to their customers. It's actually not a requirement for them to pay the Philippines Online Shopping Mall right away as they are only required once their delivery arrives at their address.
