Changing our shopping ways

I’m sure all of us went to traditional malls with our parents growing up. We were raised that when we need to buy something we go to malls to buy it there. We also got used on the time and energy we allot in shopping that it no longer matters to us by now. It has been around for a while and it helps that online shopping is now an option as well. We now have control over time when it comes to shopping. During at night, that's when they are only active and have little free time to do what they want. Since malls hours are usually not usually open 24/7, it makes it harder for them to visit traditional malls. They only manage to visit traditional malls during weekends only. For people who work under this weird schedule, it’s really hard for them to get access on these traditional malls. It's great that they have online shopping option now at their disposal.

Most offline businesses are now launching it on the online platform as well. As a matter of fact, it only happened last year in the country. When Lazada Philippines showed up, other online malls showed up as well. It is one of the first online malls to be established in the Philippines. They also exist in key South East Asia countries. The industry of Ecommerce have risen after they arrived in the country It was hard not to notice their influence in local online market. It actually made sense for any online business to try the local online market given that competition is very low. It's harder for them on how to tell local online users to check their lazada.com.ph website. Online payment wasn't highly regarded at that time that's why it was hard for them to lure people. It just difficult for online users since they are exposes their credit card and personal information online. Sadly, only few of the entire population in the Philippines own a credit card.

It's probably one of the important factors on why it struggled in the country for so long? This doesn't mean that local online users are not familiar with online transactions. We don't really consider the reward that we may get instead we jump to risk immediately. It's just simple and easy, we don't want to give online malls a chance especially if it is still new to our ears. We jump to conclusion that they are only there to scam people. It's safe to say that combing these two is a huge problem for online businesses in the market. The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall came up with a solution to solve these issues that had derailed the growth of Ecommerce for so long. They first introduced Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. in online to solve these issues. This allows local online users to pay only after they receive their orders and not upfront, which is the usual setup with online malls.
