Lazada: Improving further and beyond in online shopping

For us online users, we consider online malls that don't have brand as scam the first thing we see them. However, even if a website has brand name but it doesn't have a good customer service, it won't do no good. It's not always an advantage to have a good brand online since they actually slimmer room for errors. One voice of a customer that rants about your brand can easily sent out to millions in online that will lead for your brand to be destroyed. For online shopping malls they have different approach since they are still new and no initial benchmark to compare from. One particular website that took a lot of risk is Lazada Online Store. Why did they expose themselves to that kind of a risk? It was due to Filipinos not yet accustomed to online shopping. A lot of Filipinos go online constantly but not all of them go online to shop. It helped catapult in the local online shopping as one of the key players in the Philippines. Despite becoming available in the country, some Filipinos still are missing out a lot on this online trend. We should learn to face facts that we have about online shopping.

As we get indulged in high tech devices as consumer, we are slowly adopting and equipping ourselves to become tech-ready in online shopping. Add fast Internet connection to is and the tech device purposes goes beyond the imagination. Combining these two allows us to boundless possibilities to make usual offline activities available in online as well. Now that the online community is increasing, it has now opened the doors for this online store to further increase its reach. The intention of them is to give quality service to their customers from their sincere efforts. They sill managed to be at par with the online shopping standards but still pulled off some unconventional approach for their customers. On top of the usual payment methods like credit cards or Paypal account, they made Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. available for payment method as well. They even offer delivery fee to be waived besides their very flexible online payment method.

Depending on the shipment address, delivery fee will vary. If a customer hits more than the one thousand pesos order value, delivery fee will be for free. A typical manufacturer warranty ranging between 1-2 years will be provided to the customers. Customers can get seven-day free returns on any items they bought that has defect. It serves as a proof that Lazada aims to ensure their customers are taken care of. Personally, I really saw their drastic change in customer service support. They even improved on their delivery. Before my first order, it took almost two weeks before my orders were delivered. Comparing it from the last order I did a couple of weeks ago, I received the item as early as the next day. Usually, delivery takes 2-5 days for Manila delivery, but I doubt they will delay in delivery longer than the promised duration nowadays.
