Lazada: Setting online shopping standards on a higher level

New websites that have no brand recognition offline usually struggles to get recognition from online users. On the other hand, have a brand name will do no good if they can't provide good service to their customers. It actually gives big brands more pressure in online since they can't afford crucial mistakes. One error and their company brand will be destroyed in a snap. Other website types like Ecommerce websites, no other company went ahead of them in the past so there is no comparison giving them all a clean slate.

Among them, one of the few online stores that took a huge risk is Lazada Online Shopping Mall. So why did they expose themselves to that kind of a risk or trouble? The reason is because Filipinos are still adapting to the availability of online shopping. It's true that most of us are online, but not everyone does online shopping but rather prefers traditional malls for shopping. Obviously, it helped them build their brand on a much quicker way than their competition. Even if shopping online is now an option to the local online community, there are still some of them that haven't tried it out. We should realize it now that online shopping has more to offer. In the phase of the modern digital era, high tech devices are slowly improving on a bi-yearly basis. It's only a matter of time when higher Internet speed connection helps maximize high tech device's sole purpose.

Combining the two mentioned elements allows us now to do some of our offline activities in online. Now that the online community is increasing, it has now opened the doors for Lazada Online Store to further increase its reach. Their efforts are to allow their customers to provide the best online shopping experience. They still offered standardized options in online shopping but added their own to be on top of their competition. They offer Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. besides the usual credit card online payment to their customers. Besides the online payment method collection they offer, they still allows orders to be waived. Delivery fee rates maybe different depending online location of the shipment address. Delivery fees will be waived as long as it exceeds more than one thousand pesos. Any item bought from them will be given a one to two years of warranty similar to an online mall. 7-Day free returns are also offered to customers who may encounter defects. It only proves that they treat their customers the right way. Unlike other online stores where they prioritize the sale only and leave behind their customers once they get paid.

The Philippines’s Online Shopping Mall proved that they are dedicated in making sure that their customers will be well treated and satisfied. Through their experience as they just started their launch in the Philippines. I personally see that they have changed drastically. Even their delivery and customer service for example have changed so much comparing then and now.
