Lazada Philippines: Convincing online visitors to online customers

Shopping nowadays is much easier since we can go for either offline or online shopping. This allows us not to worry about our free schedule. No longer we will need to squeeze it in our time since we can decide whenever and wherever we please. It’s actually quite rare for customers to have control over time when it comes to shopping. Assuming they have a tough schedule and work lifestyle. Shopping for them can only be done during their free time. What’s worse is that on their free time, they will likely a lot other important matters. Normally, these are the people who work at night. It's usually closed mall hours when they are free. They are unable to visit malls when they please unlike most people. These traditional malls are only visited during the time when they don't have work. It's way harder for them if compared to people who work on a normal shift. It's better now for them since they have online shopping as an option. Online is now being migrated by offline businesses. It only started in the country last year in the Philippines. When Lazada Philippines showed up, other online malls showed up as well.

The Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall is one of the online malls to offer huge selections similar to an online mall. They can also be seen in other South East Asia countries. The industry of Ecommerce had a quick shift upwards after this online mall arrived in the country. Actually, their impact on Ecommerce can't be disregarded. Since the competition is lesser compared to other country, it's only natural to have it launched in the country. It's actually more on how they will convert the online users to become their visitors. Turning online visitors to online customers were hard primarily because online payment is not highly regarded. Hackers may target us once we use our credit card for transactions. Moreover, credit cards are not widely used in the country since a only a fraction of the population posses it.

It's probably one of the important factors on why it struggled in the country for so long? Local online users are not relatively unfamiliar with online payment. We tend to consider the risk only when dealing with online stores. We just pull the plug once we encounter these kind of website right away. Online malls for us are all scams, which is sad. This combination can easily tell to investors that it will be hard to penetrate the local market. It's great that the Philippines’ Online Shopping Mall has solved these local Ecommerce issues. These online malls offered their customers Cash on Delivery or C.O.D. as their alternative payment method. It's actually not a requirement for customers to pay them right away as they are only required once their delivery arrives at their address. This is one of the most comfortable shopping setup between a customer and an online store, much more if it’s online.
