Lazada PH: A Site Worth of My Time and Money

It is no secret to me that online shopping has its own risks. Nonetheless, this does not stop me from making my purchases online. This is mainly because I have found a reliable shopping buddy that has proven time and again that it is worthy of my trust and investment— Lazada.com.ph.

This site was actually introduced to me by one of my friends. By then, I was already trying out internet shopping and I have been a frequenter of a handful of sites. However, I will have to admit that I was not entirely satisfied with the quality of products and service that I get from them.

But when I shopped in Lazada, I finally experienced hassle-free and fun shopping that gives me the best value for my money. Hence, it is no surprise to me that this site has been dubbed as the Philippines’ online shopping mall. And just recently, it was also awarded as the Best Online Department Store in the Golden Globe Annual Awards for Business Excellence.

As it turns out, the reliability of this site can be attributed to a lot of factors. Here are some of them for starters.

Reliable payment partners

 For one, the Lazada online mall has reliable payment partners. They are the names that appear in the screen grab on the left. Apparently, these are considered as the leaders in the banking and finance sector not just in the Philippines, but in the entire world.

VISA and MasterCard are the top financial institutions globally not just because of the high quality of their service, but also because of their wide affiliations. In fact, a lot of my debit cards are linked with these two.

In the same manner, BDO is a leader in the Philippines and it is known for the variety of options it gives to consumers. Here, there are a number of policies and plans to choose from that fit every financial capability and circumstance.

But most of all, VISA, MasterCard and BDO are all known for the security of their transaction lines. I have been paying through their service and there was not one problem that I encountered. Hence, I am always at peace that even when I pay a large sum online through these companies, I will not be vulnerable to cyber attacks.

PCI DSS Seal 

 

Speaking of cyber attacks, there is another reason why I am assured that I will not fall prey to cyber criminals in this site—the PCI DSS Seal. A screen grab of which appears on the right.

PCI DSS stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. This seal was awarded to Lazada proving that the latter has a strong IT system that can ward off potential cyber attacks—the most common of which are hacking and identity theft. In fact, it would take about 40 years or 4 decades for an experienced hacker to break through this system.

With that, I am assured that I am shopping in a safe environment and all my accounts and personal information are duly protected.
