LazadaPH: Helping Both Consumers and Entrepreneurs

Nowadays, internet shopping sites just seem to be ubiquitous. For shoppers like me, there is a myriad of options to choose from as to where we will purchase items that we need or want. In my case, I have no doubts. When it comes to internet shopping, I trust Lazada.com.ph. 

For me, Lazada is a haven for internet shopping. It has everything that I need—from the latest gadgets to designers bags and dresses as well as books, home decors and even sports apparel. Name it and this site has it.

Hence, it is not big news that it has recently been awarded as the Best Online Department Store in the Golden Globe Annual Awards for Business Excellence. But even before that, it is already recognized as the Philippines’ online shopping mall.

All this is a testament to the fact that there are tons to love about this site. But this is true not just for shoppers like me, but also for local online entrepreneurs as well as the Philippine e-commerce industry as a whole.

Truly, this site has helped a lot in giving the local e-commerce industry a boost. And now, more and more Filipino consumers are turning to the internet for their various whims and needs—and of course, this includes me.

Bringing the latest and hottest items to the Filipino consumers

One of the best things about Lazada is that it brings the latest and hottest products to the Filipino consumers. I remember the time when the iPhone 5 just came out of the market. It was just officially released then to the first set of countries. But then again, some Filipinos already got theirs at the same time thanks to this site.

This online mall was among the first ones to break the iPhone 5 to the local market even if it has not been formally released here yet. The same thing happened during the introduction of the iPad mini and a lot of other trendy gadgets.

Hence, this is one of the first sites me and my friends go to when we are looking for the latest gadgets. And the good news is, it never fails to deliver.

But aside from brining international products to the local scene, this site also gives a valuable opportunity for local entrepreneurs to showcase their brand, business and products. The fact is, Lazada is the only internet shopping site I have encountered which offers a wide variety of locally made products.

Aside from that, there are also books written by local authors which are sold in the site. There are non-fiction, fiction and children’s books among others.

Similarly, this site also offers music and movies from local artists. The good news is, the Original Pilipino Music CDs and movie copies sold here are all original. Hence, it also helps in fighting the problem of piracy in the country.
